1: Tea Fields & Nara

9:30 AM – Meet at JR Kizu Station

-Travel to Wazuka Town, one of Japan’s most beautiful tea-producing areas

-Walk through stunning tea fields, enjoy Japanese tea tasting experience

-Visit Nara for sightseeing in the afternoon

4:00 PM – Tour ends at Nara Station

2: Uji & Tea Fields

9:00 AM – Meet at Uji Station

-Walk around Uji, one of Japan’s most famous tea towns

-Travel to Wazuka Town

-Tea field walk and tea tasting experience

4:00 PM – Tour ends at JR Kizu Station

Southern Kyoto offers many fascinating places related to Japanese tea culture. Depending on your interests, the tour can also include:

• A Japanese tea museum to learn about the history of tea

• A Zen temple connected to tea culture

• A visit to Chasen (Bamboo whisk) craftsman’s workshop

• A visit to a peaceful temple hidden in the mountains
